Research can feel productive because it creates input. The danger is never turning the input into a decision.

Define enough

Before researching, decide what would be enough to move forward: three examples, one benchmark, a clear risk list, or a short recommendation.

As you research, write what each source changes. If nothing changes, you may already have enough.

A rough draft reveals gaps better than more reading. Let the draft tell you what research is still needed.
